Learning Outcomes and Application This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to manage compliance in digital supply chains. It includes identifying digital supply chain compliance requirements, maintaining digital supply chain compliance information, monitoring digital supply chain compliance and reviewing and reporting on digital supply chain compliance.Compliance refers to the adherence of established guidelines and all legal requirements including those in relation to sourcing, manufacturing and delivering products in a digital supply chain. Tracking and complying with local, national and international product and supply chain laws and industry standards is critical to the maintenance of confidence in digital supply chains.The unit is applicable to those with management or team leadership responsibilities within a digital supply chain.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
Duration and Setting X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting.

Assessors must hold credentials specified within the Standards for Registered Training Organisations current at the time of assessment.

Assessment must satisfy the Principles of Assessment and Rules of Evidence and all regulatory requirements included within the Standards for Registered Training Organisations current at the time of assessment.

Assessment must occur in workplace operational situations, where it is appropriate to do so. Where this is not appropriate, assessment must occur in simulated workplace operational situations that replicate workplace conditions.

Assessment processes and techniques must be appropriate to the language, literacy and numeracy requirements of the work being performed and the needs of the candidate.

Resources for assessment must include access to a range of

exercises, case studies and/or other simulations

materials, tools and equipment used in industry

documentation including organisational policies and procedures, industry standards, regulations, codes of practice, operational manuals and equipment specifications.

Element: Identify compliance requirements
  • Compliance strategy, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), for the digital supply chain is confirmed

Element: Legislative and regulatory compliance is monitored throughout the digital supply chain, in accordance with compliance procedures
       
Element: Non-compliance actions and breaches, including whistle blower reports, are documented and corrective actions are monitored, in accordance with compliance procedures

  • Compliance strategy and KPIs are reviewed, in consultation with digital supply chain stakeholders, to identify improvements
       
Element: Digital supply chain compliance report, including recommendations, is prepared and presented to approved stakeholders
